When 20-year-old Aravindan returned home for the passport verification process for a job opening in Singapore, caste Hindus in Karuvanur village in Veerachikuppam Panchayat beat him up and abused him.

This young man of the Kuravar community, employed as a gas fitter in Bengaluru, was attacked by a local gang of intermediate caste Hindu youth, which beat him up and urinated into his mouth, during a temple festival on March 2.

The victim says that he knows the identity of the one who did the inhuman act.

While he was in hospital, Aravindan’s house was broken into and ransacked.
