The Vellore Postal Division is conducting “Dak Adalat” on June 28 at the office of the Superintendent of Post Offices, Vellore Division.
According to a press release, postal customers who have grievances and complaints relating to postal services can send their complaints/representations to the Superintendent of Post Offices, Vellore Division, Vellore 632001 on or before June 27.
It can be sent through ordinary post/registered post/speed post.
Complaints pertaining to registered/insured/value paid articles/money orders should contain complete details such as date/office of posting, details of sender/addressee and photocopy of the receipt should be sent.
For complaints on savings schemes, the details of the savings account number should be sent.
Issues of insurance
Complaints on Rural Postal Life Insurance should contain name and address of the insurance, policy number and other details.
Customers can attend the office in person too for the “Dak Adalat” at 11 a.m. on June 28 if they wish to be heard in person.
All customers have been requested to make use of this Adalat for redress of their grievances, the press release added .
