Crafts exhibition begins in Salem

An exhibition-cum-sale of handicrafts and handlooms began at Deiveegam Thirumana Mandapam here on Wednesday.

Organised by Annai Arts and Crafts, specialised products in handcrafts and handlooms, glass jewellery, saris, coral luck stones, wooden toys, terracotta toys, pottery, leather crafts, all brought from various places across the country are on display.

Carpets, dress materials, cushions, furniture are also available.

N. Balakrishnan, organiser, said that products suitable for summer season, including dress materials, are available.

The unique products of each State were display. New varieties of handbags, and paintings too were available, he added.

Time

The exhibition is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Discount is offered for the products.
