Computers stolen from private college

Computers and other communication apparatus worth over Rs.1.50 lakh kept in the “computer laboratory” of a private college at Mailam were reportedly stolen on Tuesday night.

When the staff concerned turned up for duty on Wednesday he found the laboratory empty of all the equipment and reported the matter immediately to the management.

The management in turn lodged a complaint with the Mailam police.

Following this, the police along with forensic experts and a sniffer dog reached the college to trace the fingerprints and gather other evidence. The investigation is going on.
