International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials-India—an Indian Corporation to develop a uniform plumbing code within India —signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Knowledge Institute of Technology, Salem, along with Vibha Training and Consulting Services Private Limited on Thursday.
The MoU will facilitate setting up of a regional training centre at the college. Through this MoU, selected students will be given training in plumbing, which will enable them get better employment in MNCs.
The MoU was signed by Neeta Sharma, Managing Director of the association, P. S. S. Srinivasan, Principal and Secretary of the college, and Nanjundeswaren, Director, Vibha Training and Consultancy Services.
