Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam leader M.H. Jawahirullah has sought Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami’s resignation following allegation made by the accused in the Kodanad Estate break-in case implicating him in the crime. “In the interest of justice and to enable a fair probe, Mr. Palaniswami should resign as two of the accused in the Kodanad case have alleged that it was at the CM’s behest that the crime was committed,” he told reporters in Coimbatore on Friday.

Mr. Jawahirullah sought the release of seven convicts in Rajiv Gandhi assassination case and also the release of Muslim prisoners who had spent over 20 years behind bars.
