The Confederation of Indian Industry-Salem organised a workshop on finance and non-finance for executives and entrepreneurs in the city on Wednesday.
P. Raju Iyer, Chairman, Cost Auditing Standards Board, Institute of Cost Accountants of India, was the resource person.
Mr. Raju Iyer explained the basics of financial environment, how to read financial statements, understand key ratios and their implications in financial measurements and targets, how to evaluate opportunities – all from operations management perspective.
Understanding the above will immensely help the finance and non-finance executives to play a more active role in personal finances and the financial aspects of the organisation.
