The police have filed a case against senior leaders of the Pattali Makkal Katchi as its public meeting at Adyar on Tuesday went beyond the stipulated time. The PMK had organised a public meeting in Shastri Nagar, Adyar, on Tuesday night. The meeting apparently went beyond the prescribed closing time resulting in the city police filing a case against the party leaders, including Anbumani Ramadoss, G.K. Mani, and A.K. Moorthy.

A senior official of the city police, confirming the filing of a case against the three PMK leaders, said the case had been filed in the Shastri Nagar Police Station under the Tamil Nadu City Police Act.
