A campaign for use of helmets was organised at the Primary Health Centre in Melasivapuri near here on Tuesday.

Navarathinasamy, Block Medical Officer, Karaiyur, inaugurated the camp and spoke on the importance of helmets in protecting the life. It should be a mass movement instead of being a drive by the police, he said.

V. C. Subash Gandhi, District Health Systems Project Officer, said the programme marked the 100{+t}{+h}free camp to identify high-risk pregnant women, being organised by the Tamil Nadu Health Systems Project.
