Two persons were booked under the Goondas Act by the district administration here on Friday.
The accused 25-year-old Pounraj was booked for sand smuggling activities.
According to sources, the accused, a resident of Periyampatty was running a six-wheeler exclusively for sand smuggling, and was arrested earlier last month.
The second accused 29-year-old Mayakkannan, a resident of Mannadipatty in Krishnagiri was arrested for chain snatching in Dharmapuri town. Both men were booked under Goondas Act by Collector K. Vivekanandan.
