New bank branch inaugurated
A branch of Bank of Baroda was inaugurated here by E. F. Tucker, General Manager, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, on Friday. He also opened an ATM on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Tucker said that the bank had been leveraging its technical prowess with rapid expansion in alternative delivery channels in addition to increasing its branch network.
G. Sanal Kumar, Regional Manager, said that the Aruppukottai branch was the 52nd for Madurai region and fifth for Virudhunagar district. According to a press release issued on Saturday, the Bank of Baroda has planned to increase its branch network substantially in the Madurai region. N. Pandiselvam, Branch Manager, proposed a vote of thanks.
