Elaborate arrangements have been made to handle the crowd, and maintain law and order on Monday when the High Court of Karnataka will deliver the judgment on the appeal filed by the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and three others against their conviction in the disproportionate assets case.

City Police Commissioner M.N. Reddi has clamped prohibitory orders within the one-km radius of the High Court on Monday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. The order has been issued following intelligence reports that hundreds of people would throng the city on the judgment day, which could cause a law and order problem.

Four armed police personnel are keeping watch at the residence of B.V. Acharya, Special Public Prosecutor.
