Amid crisis, T.T.V. Dhinakaran calls on V.K. Sasikala

He is likely to discuss the possible merger of the different factions of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.

T.T.V. Dhinakaran, along with his family, met V. K. Sasikala at the Parappana Agrahara central prison on Friday. Prison sources told The Hindu that they were given a one-hour time slot between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.

While the family members who accompanied Mr. Dhinakaran are visiting Ms. Sasikala to wish her on her birthday, it is said that Mr. Dhinakaran is likely to discuss the political developments in Tamil Nadu and possible merger of the different factions of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.
