The government has instructed the ambulance services managements to settle the workers’ issue amicably and prevent a strike, Health Minister C. Vijaya Bhaskar told reporters here on Thursday.

He promised that the State government would take all steps to maintain the ambulance services without causing hindrance to the public.

The 108 Ambulance Workers’ Association had announced that 3,750 workers would go on an indefinite strike from midnight on November 8 demanding 20 per cent bonus for ‘Deepavali.’
