Syed Mohideen, Joint Director of Health and Rural Services and Saravanakumar, District Differently-abled Rehabilitation Officer, were among those who were present.
‘Control dengue’
E. Vallavan, District Collector, on Friday, reviewed the preventive measures taken to check the incidence of dengue in the district. He advised the heads of department to ensure a coordinated effort. Focus should be on public participation for destroying the larva at source through awareness by students and NSS volunteers. Focus should be on places with water channels such as T.R. Pattinam and Mannai Pudhu Colony, he said.
