DMK leader M. Karunanidhi blessed the couple.
Actor Vikram’s daughter Akshita tied the knot with Manu Ranjith, son of C.K. Ranganathan, founder of FMCG firm Cavinkare and the man who pioneered the sachet revolution in India.
Mr. Ranjith is also the great grandson of DMK leader M. Karunanidhi who also attended the wedding.
Manu Ranjith set up his own chain of bakeries in 2015. He intends to scale up his brand, CK’s Bakery, to 100 outlets by 2017. He is also a director at Cavinkare.
