‘A good teacher should have potential to identify expectations of students’

Dhirajlal Gandhi College of Technology in association with the ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu conducted a one-day faculty empowerment programme on “Creative Thinking” for school faculties.

Dhirajlal A Gandhi, Chairman of the institute, inaugurated the programme and said that a good teacher should always have the potential to identify the expectations of the students and should handle classes using advanced technology.

K. Nirmalkumar, Deputy Manager Training and Development Department, ICTACT, Chennai was the chief guest.

Technical solutions

He stressed that teachers should always kindle the students to think and act right, in order to provide technical solutions to societal problems.

Archana Manojkumar, Secretary of the institute, spoke about the need for English communication skills for students to excel in placements.

V. Murali Bhaskaran, Principal of the college, offered felicitation.

Earlier, S. Saravanan, Dean, Admissions, welcomed the gathering.

M. Rameshkumar, Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering Department, proposed a vote of thanks.
