When it came to music, MSV was ahead of his time: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday condoled the demise of music director M. S Viswanathan, saying it is a major loss to music lovers.

“The unfortunate demise of Shri MS Viswanathan is a major loss to music lovers. People across generations enjoyed his compositions,” Mr. Modi tweeted.

“When it came to music, Shri MS Viswanathan was always ahead of his time. Condolences to his family & his several admirers,” he added.

M. S. Viswanathan passed away at his residence in Chennai early on Tuesday following illness.
