Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore, has sought explanation from the eight-member committee, which set the question paper for the Materials Management paper of the fourth semester Bachelor of Business Administration examination, in connection with the issuing of wrong question papers to the students appearing for the examination on Monday.

A. Jothi Murugan, Vice-Chancellor of Thiruvalluvar University told The Hindu on Tuesday that a preliminary enquiry revealed that the bungling was due to a mistake on the part of the question paper-setters.

A fresh question paper will be set for the Financial Management paper for B.Com., and the ‘Materials Management' examination for BBA has been postponed to May 23, he said.
