Popular actor Trisha Krishnan, who has been facing the wrath of jallikattu supporters for endorsing PETA, the animal rights organisation which has opposed the bull taming sport, made a hasty retreat and returned to Madurai after an angry mob held up the shooting of the film ‘ Garjanai ’, featuring her and fellow actor Arya.
After learning that a group of youth, including volunteers from Naam Tamizhar Katchi, had held up shooting at Nemathanpatti near here on Friday, Trisha, who was staying at the MAM Bungalow in the outskirts of the town, had to pack up and leave for Madurai, the police said.
