Thoothukudi: The revised draft electoral roll for Thoothukudi district was released by Collector M. Ravikumar here on Thursday.
As per the revised roll, the district has a total of 14,07,507 voters – 6,93,149 men, 7,14,276 women and 82 others. As many as 29,933 voters – 13,902 men, 16,014 women and 17 others – had been included in the revised draft roll, and 2,123 applications rejected, the Collector said.
For the summary revision of electoral rolls in 2017, 46,737 application forms were received, and 4,760 of them were received online. The district had 1,562 polling stations situated at 857 locations, he said.
