Southern Railway will run special trains between Chennai and Nagercoil to clear the rush of passengers.
Chennai Central – Nagercoil (Bi-weekly) Specials: Train no 0619 will leave Central at 8.35 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays from February 15 to March 29 and reach Nagercoil at 11.05 a.m., the next day.
In the return direction train no 0620 will leave Nagercoil at 4.35 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from February 16 to March 30 and arrive Chennai Central at 8.15 a.m., the next day.
Chennai Egmore – Nagercoil (Weekly) Specials: Train no 0623 will leave Egmore at 6.50 p.m. on Tuesdays from February 16 to March 30 and reach Nagercoil at 8.05 a.m., the next day.
In the return direction train no 0624 will leave Nagercoil at 1.30 p.m. on Wednesdays from February 17 to March 31 and arrives Egmore at 4.15 a.m., the next day.
Advance reservation is available, a Southern Railway press release said.
