K. S. Sripathi, Chief Secretary, on Wednesday, inspected the district stadium and children's park here.
The Chief Secretary advised the officials to provide toilet facilities at the children's park.
The stadium, which was declared open in February by M. K. Stalin, Deputy Chief Minister, has got all infrastructure provided on an outlay of Rs.70 lakh.
The Chief Secretary also held discussions with officials, led by M. Vijayakumar, Collector, on the developmental schemes being implemented in the district. He appealed to the sportspersons of the district to take maximum advantage of the stadium.
Punniamurthy, District Sports Officer, was among those who participated in the discussion.
