Identity cards for all Youth Congress workers will be distributed soon. About 12.5 lakh cards have been printed and the cards will be distributed to the workers in phases in five different places.
M.Yuvaraj, newly elected president of the State Youth Congress told newsmen in Chennai on Wednesday that all party cadres would be issued the ID cards. As the number of workers was more than 10 lakh, the party had decided to distribute it in phases.
The party had requested Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi to inaugurate the distribution of the
ID cards.
