The Heavy Alloy Penetrator Project (HAPP) here, one of the units under the Ordnance Factory Board, has chalked out a modernisation plan to augment its facility to produce 120 mm and 125 mm MK-II Anti Tank projectiles.

Disclosing this to reporters here on Friday on the occasion of Ordnance Factories Day, the HAPP, Tiruchi General Manager B. Pugazhendhi said the HAPP was trying to diversify its products citing the recent development of Anti Submarine rockets for the Indian Navy.

The HAPP in collaboration with the Defence Research Development Organisation had embarked on the task of developing the 125 mm MK-II Anti Tank projectile.
