Consumer Help Line receives 550 enquiries

The State Consumer Help Line cell received 170 enquiries through telephone and 334 enquiries through the web facility in its first week.

All the enquiries were attended to, according to an official release.

The cell, launched by Deputy Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on November 2, can be contacted at 044-28592828. The call centre assistants are available between 9.30 a.m. and 6 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. Complaints/requests can be made through the online registration facility available in the website (www.consumer.tn.gov.in) or through e-mail (consumer@tn.gov.in). Also, written complaints/requests can be sent to the State Consumer Help Line, Office of the Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Ezhilagam - IV Floor, Chepauk, Chennai 600005. Users of this facility can send their feedback or suggestion by telephone (044-28592255) or by e-mail (consumer@tn.gov.in).
