Candidates should submit expense accounts tomorrow

Candidates, including independents, should submit their accounts for the third inspection at the prescribed time on April 11 at the conference hall of the Collectorate, said Dipak P. Ripote, Observer (Expenditure).

In a letter sent to Returning Officers of seven Assembly constituencies on Saturday, he said that expenditure accounts of Athoor Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) candidate I. Periasamy will be inspected at 11 a.m., accounts of Oddanchatram DMK candidate R. Sakkarapani will be inspected at 11.10 a.m., accounts of Nilakottai Congress candidate K.R. Rajangam at 11.20 a.m. Athoor Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) candidate S. Balasubramani's accounts at 12 p.m., Oddanchatram All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate P. Balasubramani at 12.10 p.m., Nilakottai Puthiya Tamizhagam (PT) candidate A. Ramasamy at 12.20 p.m. on April 11.

After lunch, BJP candidate for Athoor Bharanidharan and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate B. Raja's accounts will be inspected at 3 p.m. and 3.10 p.m respectively. Oddanchatram Bharatiya Janata Party candidate S.K. Palanisamy's and BSP candidate R. Pitchai Muthu's accounts will be inspected at 3.20 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. respectively. BJP candidate for Nilakottai Chinnappan alias V. Rajendran and BSP candidate P. Pichaiammal's accounts will be checked at 3.40 p.m. and 3.50 p.m. respectively.

Expenditure accounts of all other candidates in Oddanchatram, Athoor and Nilakottai will be checked at 4 p.m. on wards on the same day.

Candidates contesting in Natham, Dindigul and Vedasandur constituencies should present their accounts to the accounting team for the first inspection scheduled for April 11 at the conference hall in the office of Project officer DRDA, said Dilip Goyal, Election Observer (Expenditure) for the three constituencies. In a letter sent to all Returning Officers in the three Assembly constituencies here on Saturday, he said that the expenditure accounts of DMK and its allies in all the three constituencies will be inspected at 11 a.m., AIADMK and its allies' accounts at 12 noon, BJP, BSP and its allies' accounts at 3 p.m., and accounts of all other candidates after 4 p.m. and all other candidates of three constituencies from 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on April 11, he added.
