A senior constable attached to a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) battalion in the Kashmir Valley allegedly committed suicide after murdering his wife over a family dispute in Udayapatti village near here on Wednesday.
Police sources said Murugan (40) had come to his native village last week on a month's leave. On Wednesday morning, neighbours heard cries from their house with children standing outside.
People who entered the house after removing the tiles, informed the police. The Ammapet police are investigating.
