Veterinary College and Research Institute here has formed a blood donors’ club with 44 NSS volunteers registering their names with the club at a function organised on Tuesday on the occasion of World Blood Donors Day.
Dean M. Thirunavukkarasu inaugurated the registration of student-volunteers and appealed to the students to donate blood and save lives of patients. Physician M. Dhanya spoke on the importance of blood donation. N. Arulnathan, Assistant Professor, Department of Animal Nutrition and NSS programme officer, and J. Johnson Rajeswar, Head, Department of Veterinary Microbiology, participated.
