Additional Solicitor-General for South India resigns

With the BJP-led government set to take office at the Centre, an Additional Solicitor-General for South India, G. Masilamani, has resigned from the post.

He was appointed to the post during the outgoing UPA government.

He had sent his resignation letter, family sources said.

P. Wilson, another Additional Solicitor General, said he has also decided to resign. He will be sending his resignation soon, he said.
