Sharp weapons

The four-member gang attacked the two with sharp weapons. Police were deployed inside the theatre after the incident. A case has been registered and further investigations are on. Meanwhile, Ajith Kumar, 20, reportedly poured kerosene on his father K. Pandian, 45, and set him ablaze after he prevented him from watching Viswasam .

The incident happened near Kalinjur in Vellore on Thursday. On Wednesday, Ajithkumar had asked Pandian money to watch the movie.
