289 tonnes of Amma cement stocked in Ariyalur

About 289 tonnes of Amma cement is available for sale in Ariyalur district. One individual could purchase up to 750 bags of cement at the rate of Rs.190 per bag.

A.Saravanavelraj, District Collector, who inspected the sale of Amma cement at Thevanur panchayat community hall, said that the cement was sold in six blocks in the district.

The Collector also inspected the construction of a library building taken up at a cost of Rs.92,000 at Marudur in Andimadam panchayat union, solar-powered green house at a cost of Rs.2.60 lakh, a retaining wall in Saran lake at a cost of Rs.2.35 lakh at Thevanur panchayat, and a retaining wall at a cost of Rs.1 lakh at Kuvagam village.
