24 Pudukkottai fishermen arrested by Sri Lankan Navy

A total of 24 fishermen of Kottaipattinam village were arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy in the mid-sea late night on Wednesday.

Official sources said, the fishermen had ventured into sea on Wednesday morning by six mechanised boats. The Sri Lankan Naval personnel took them to Kangesanthurai harbour, according to reports reaching here on Thursday morning.
