Water levels in 31 of the 91 major reservoirs monitored across India were 80%-100% full on August 14.
Two months back, on June 14, just two of the dams had such levels. As on Wednesday, more than 200 people had died in four States due to floods and, in at least 13 sites, flood warning had been issued.
