Reconduct AIPMT by August 16, SC tells CBSE

The Supreme Court on Friday gave the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) time till August 16 to reconduct and declare the results of the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) for 2015-16.

A vacation bench headed by Justice R.K. Agrawal extended the time on the CBSE’s plea seeking three months time for conducting the test again.

On June 15, the court, while cancelling the examination held on May 3, gave the CBSE four weeks time to reconduct the exam and declare the results.

The cancellation of the test follows the leak of the question paper and circulation of the answer keys through electronic devices across 10 States.
