The condition of yoga exponent Baba Ramdev is stable and he may be discharged on Tuesday provided his health parameters showed improvement, doctors at the Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust (HIHT) at Jolly Grant near here said on Monday.

Medical Superintendent S.L. Jethani said Ramdev had taken fruits and juice. He was able to sit and walk within his hospital room but complained of weakness.

Ramdev had ended his fast on the ninth day on Sunday. He held his fast at the Patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwar to put an end to corruption and bring back black money stashed away in foreign countries. He was hospitalised on Friday after his condition deteriorated.
