The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Wednesday rejected the anticipatory bail applications of three trustees of the Ryan International School in connection with the murder case of a seven-year-old student in the Gurugram school.

The trustees — Augustine F. Pinto, Grace Pinto and Ryan Pinto — filed an application for anticipatory bail in the Punjab and Haryana High Court on September 16 after their bail application was rejected by the Bombay High court on September 14.

However, the court has refused to stay their arrest in the murder case of Pradyuman Thakur.

Earlier on Tuesday, Justice A.B. Chaudhari of the Punjab and Haryana High court had recused himself from hearing the anticipatory bail application of three trustees. Justice Inderjit Singh heard the bail plea case on Wednesday.
