Delhi University Pro-VC Sudhish Pachauri read out a brief statement in which he said that soon after >news of VC Dinesh Singh’s resignation came out “we met him and appealed to him not to take any such step”.
“We also appeal to the government to come out with an amicable solution on the issue in the interest of students,” he said.
Mr Pachauri also said the VC has not resigned.
