Paswan hits out at RJD

Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan hit out at the Rashtriya Janata Dal, which voted against the Constitution Amendment Bill that seeks to extend 10% reservation to economically backward among the unreserved category.

The 10% quota is over and above reservation already extended to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Castes “so why is the RJD getting a stomach ache,” Mr. Paswan asked. “They want confrontation between the castes to continue so that they can play on the backward-forward binary.”
