Being a Friday, private members will get their chance to present draft legislations to both Houses of the Parliament. Two days of the winter session of Parliament so far have seen almost no conduct of business — except for the National Trust for Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities (Amendment) Bill, 2018 passed by the Rajya Sabha.

The government has listed The National Council for Teacher Education (Amendment) Bill, 2018, The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (Amendment) Bill, 2018 and The Representation of the People (Amendment) Bill, 2018 for consideration and passing.

As far as government business is concerned, The Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Bill, 2018 is listed for introduction. The Central Universities (Amendment) Bill, 2018, The Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Bill, 2016, The New Delhi International Arbitration Centre Bill, 2018, The Consumer Protection Bill, 2018, The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (Amendment) Bill, 2018, are also up for introduction and passing.
