Pakistan ceasefire violation continues

The Pakistan Army violated ceasefire along the LoC in Balakote and Poonch sectors of Jammu and Kashmir, a defence spokesman said on Wednesday.

The Pakistan Army violated ceasefire overnight at two places along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district.

“Pakistan Army violated ceasefire in Balakote sector yesterday (Tuesday),” defence spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Manish Mehta told IANS in Jammu.

“After our troops retaliated, Pakistan firing stopped at 10 p.m.”

“But firing from Pakistan resumed in Poonch sector and continued from 10 p.m. to 10.30 p.m,” Lt. Col. Mehta added.
