Two KLO operatives held

Two suspected Kamtapur Liberation Organisation (KLO) operatives and a cattle smuggler were arrested on Sunday from the Khutadaha border outpost in the Malda district, senior BSF officers said.

Two suspected KLO operatives, Bhudeb Roy and Nirmal Sarkar were arrested while they were trying to sneak into Bangladesh this morning, said DIG, BSF (Malda Sector), Arjun Singh Rathore.

“Two sophisticated pistols, six rounds of live ammunition, several mobile SIM cards, BSF uniform and fake identity cards were recovered from them. A motorbike was also seized from them and they were presently being interrogated by the officers of the 31st Battalion,” said Rathore.- PTI
