Tata Motors to study verdict on Singur Act

Tata Motors Ltd. has said it will study the ruling of the Calcutta High Court on the Singur Land Rehabilitation and Development Act 2011 and decide its course of action. The statement came shortly after the court upheld the Act as constitutional and valid.

In a statement on Wednesday, the company said it had learnt of the court's ruling. “The company will study the judgment and decide its next course of action,” it said.
