Six killed after being hit by train in U.P.

Six persons, including three children, on Wednesday died after being hit by a train while they were crossing a railway track in Sadar Bazar area of Shahjahanpur district, the police said.

The incident took place at a railway bridge in the wee hours on Wednesday when six persons, including three women and three children, were crossing the railway track. They were hit by a train due to poor visibility caused by fog, they said.

While ‘Nirmal’ is engraved on the arm of one of the deceased women, another has ‘PR’ written on her arm, police said adding that they are yet to ascertain the identity of the victims.
