Sena to participate despite Sharif

The Shiv Sena has decided to attend the swearing-in of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister on Monday despite its misgivings about the presence of Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the function. “All the Shiv Sena MPs-elect will be present at the ceremony,” Vinayak Raut, one of them, said on Sunday. Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray will also be present, party sources said. The party is expected to get one Cabinet berth and one Minister of State post in the Modi Ministry.

The party, however, said Mr. Modi might have to press the nuclear button if Pakistan’s tail remained crooked.
