Panaji: A special investigation team (SIT) of Maharashtra CID probing the alleged murder of Communist leader Govind Pansare questioned several members of the Sanathan Sanstha at it’s ashram in Ramnathi, Goa, on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Among those questioned included the organisation’s founder Jayant Athavle and other trustees. Abhay Vartak, a spokesperson of the organisation, said the team held discussions with Virendra Marathe, a trustee, on Thursday. He said Mr. Marathe has always cooperated with the administration in such matters and will continue to do so.
