Speaking on the relationship between Rahul Mukherjea and Sheena Bora, who was allegedly killed by her mother Indrani Mukherjea, Rahul’s maternal uncle said here on Thursday that Rahul had brought Sheena to Dehradun and had introduced her to his relatives as a “very close friend.” Shaleen Singh said: “In 2011, Rahul had brought Sheena to Dehradun for few days. He introduced her as a very close friend.”
Rahul’s mother Shabnam, who is the ex-wife of Star India’s former head Peter Mukherjea, lives in Dehradun.
Rahul too is spotted in the city often, Mr. Singh said. During the visit, Rahul had also introduced Sheena to his maternal grandparents. “I could sense that they were planning to marry as otherwise he wouldn’t have introduced Sheena to our family,” he said.
