Proposal for separate all India Services cadre for administrative, police officers in Goa

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said on Wednesday that his government will pursue with the Centre its proposal for having a separate all India Services cadre for administrative and police officers for the State of Goa by delinking the State from present joint AGMUT Cadre. Mr. Parrikar further said that unlike erstwhile UPA Government at the Centre, with whom he had to carry out a prolonged correspondence on this issue, he will now get the work done in this regard from present BJP government at the Centre.
