Twenty-five autos have been registered for the initial run and will be available from the HUDA City Centre metro station.

Launching the service, Joint Commissioner of Police (Gurgaon) Saurabh Singh said that the service was launched in continuance of several initiatives taken by the police on women safety in the city. He said that soon 25 more Pink Autos would be made available at the MG Road metro station .

The Pink Autos were first introduced in 2010, but failed to garner a good response.
