A man was arrested on Saturday over a group clash which left four dead and seven injured in Nagaur district of Rajasthan.

“One of the accused, identified as Ramkumar, has been arrested while others are absconding,” Nagaur SP Raghvendra Suhasa said.

Four persons — three from the Dalit community and one from Jat community — were killed on Thursday in a land-related dispute in Dangawas village.

The supporters of Kanaram Jat and Ratna Ram Meghwal clashed with each other, SHO Merta City Nagaram said.

While Rampal died of a bullet shot, three others — Ratna Ram, Pokar Ram and Pancha Ram — received injuries by other weapons and died, he said. One of the injured later succumbed to the injuries in a hospital in Ajmer. — PTI
